Known issue: Fit tracking not turning back on after using maximum power saving modes
We have received a number of reports that on some devices, particularly Samsung devices, maximum power saving modes may disable Google Fit tracking permanently, even after it's switched off.
We are currently working on a fix, but in the meantime the following process should resolve the issue if you notice that Fit is no longer tracking after using a battery saver mode:
- On your Android phone, open Google Fit

- At the bottom, tap Profile

- Reset "Track your activities" by turning if off and on
