Pixel Care+ is Google's protection program available in the US and Japan for Pixel phones, watches, tablets, and Fitbit devices. It offers a range of benefits that includes unlimited accidental damage claims, $0 battery replacement, and premium support from Google Pixel experts. Benefits vary by plan.

Pixel Care+ is available only in the US through both Google Store and Google Fi. You can choose from different plan options:

The Pixel Care+ monthly coverage plan is billed monthly for 60 months or until cancelled. With the Pixel Care+ 2-year plan, you pay once up front for 24 months of coverage.

What Pixel Care+ coverage offers
Pixel Care+ provides device coverage including:
- Unlimited accidental damage from handling (drops, cracks and spills)
- $0 repairs for screens and batteries.
- Only available for front screen and back glass of most Pixel phones and batteries that retain less than 80% of original charge capacity.
- Exclusions: Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Tablets, and Pixel Watches are not repairable. Inner Fold screens and other excluded devices may only be eligible for repair or replacement at the standard deductible cost.
- Unlimited $0 claims for post-warranty malfunctions.
- Replacement devices typically ship the next day, subject to availability.
- Priority support from Pixel experts

Buy Pixel Care+ from the Google StoreWhen you buy a new device from the Google Store, add the Pixel Care+ plan to your cart during checkout.
Within 60 days of purchasing a new device from the Google Store:
- Go to the Pixel Care+ management page.
- Locate the device order you want to add Pixel Care+ to.
- Click Review and buy.
- Once Pixel Care+ is purchased, a new order will be generated with a separate email confirmation.
Within 60 days of purchasing a new device from the Google Store:
- Go to the Pixel Care+ eligibility page.
- Enter the IMEI or serial number of the device you purchased.
- If your device is eligible for Pixel Care+, you can select your desired plan.
- Complete the enrollment.

When you buy a new device from Google Fi, you can add the Pixel Care+ plan to your cart during checkout.
Within 60 days of purchasing a new device from Google Fi:
- If you're new to Google Fi, make sure your Google Fi service is activated first.
- Then, either on the Google Fi app or the Google Fi website, go to your plan.
- Select the device you want to enroll.
- Follow the prompts to choose your plan.
- Complete the enrollment.

When you buy a new device from My Pixel app, you can add the Pixel Care+ plan to your cart during checkout.
Within 60 days of purchasing a new device from the Google Store, Google Fi, or a third-party retailer:
- You can purchase Pixel Care+ through the My Pixel app throughout your 60-day eligibility window through the “Support" tab or the “Home" tab.
- These will direct you to the Pixel Care+ web purchase flow.
Your coverage period begins on the enrollment date or device shipment date, whichever is later.
You can purchase a 2-year fixed term plan at any Google Retail Store.
Monthly plans are currently unavailable for purchase within the Google Retail Store. However, you can add a monthly plan on Pixel Care+ through the Google Store website or Google Fi website for Fi devices within 60 days of purchasing the new device.

Tip: To enroll your device in a standard Pixel Care+ plan with Google Fi service, you can enroll through the Google Store within 60 days of device purchase. You can then later activate Google Fi service. Keep in mind that devices must be unlocked to enroll in Fi service. All phones purchased on Google Fi are unlocked.

Transferability

Claims may be fulfilled with new or refurbished devices and may be the same or similar model of like kind and quality. For replacements, you can avoid a non-return fee by returning your damaged device or device that experienced a mechanical or electrical breakdown.
Plans are optional, may be canceled at any time, and receive a refund as described in the Terms and Conditions. Monthly plans are billed for 60 months or until cancelled. Upfront plans are billed at time of sign up for a 2-year term.

In Japan, Pixel Care+ is available through Google Store. You can choose from the different plan options:
- Monthly (up to 60 months)
- Monthly with Loss and Theft (up to 60 months)
- 2-year fixed term
- 2-year fixed term with Loss and Theft
The Pixel Care+ monthly coverage plan is billed monthly for 60 months or until cancelled. With the Pixel Care+ 2-year plan, you pay once up front for 24 months of coverage.

What Pixel Care+ coverage offers
Pixel Care+ provides device coverage that includes:
- Unlimited accidental damage from handling (drops, cracks and spills).
- ¥0 screen and battery repairs.
- Only available for front screen and back glass of most Pixel phones and batteries that retain less than 80% of original charge capacity.
- Exclusions: The inner fold screen isn’t covered by no cost repair services.
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Tablets, and Pixel Watches aren't repairable.
- Unlimited ¥0 claims for post-warranty malfunctions.
- Replacement devices typically ship the next business day, subject to availability.
- Priority support from Pixel experts.
Optional Loss and Theft coverage
- If you buy Pixel Care+ with Loss and Theft, your eligible item is also covered if it's lost or stolen.
- In a 12-month period, you can file up to 2 claims for Loss and Theft.
- “Find Hub” must be enabled on your device at the time it's lost or stolen. Additionally, Find Hub must remain enabled throughout the entire duration of the claims process.
- You must also file a police report for the lost or stolen device.
- After you reach that limit, you can still file unlimited accidental damage claims and use your remaining Pixel Care+ benefits.
