When you land in a country outside the US, you can find an international card in your Google Fi app. It provides more information about the coverage in the country or region you're in. Based on your plan type and where you use your Google Fi service, rates for international use vary. You can find the detailed rates for calls, texts, and data below.

If both Wi-Fi and cellular are available, Google Fi routes your call over the best option. If you have a strong cellular connection of LTE or greater, Google Fi may send the call over the internet to give you the best experience.
To use Wi-Fi only, turn on Airplane mode and Wi-Fi.
- While in Airplane mode, your phone can't connect to cellular.
- When you're not on Wi-Fi, turn off Airplane mode.

Learn about international use charges
To find the international charges for your usage outside the US:
- In the Google Fi app, tap Billing.
- Under "International calls," tap View Details.
- Keep in mind that the charges can take up to 60 days to appear on your bill.
- The data you use outside the US is also shown separately from your monthly data budget. To know more, go to Understand your Google Fi bill.
Find extra charges
You can find your upcoming charges for extra usage in your next billing statement if:
- You make international calls from the US. This is at no charge with the Unlimited Premium plan. Learn about calls to over 50 countries or regions.
- You use your phone outside the US.
To find your upcoming charges:
- Open the Google Fi app
or website.
- In the “Home” tab, select Overview
