GUI font size randomly got much smaller.

I am running Google Earth Pro on Windows 11, and when I started it up this morning, the text on the GUI was suddenly a lot smaller than it had been. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Google have recently been updating how it works with the latest windows updates around high DPI screens.

So if have a high resolution screen, items might be smaller.

Should in theory be able to override it

My Google Earth had stopped allowing Placemarks to be added correctly. This fixed the issue. Thanks a ton for taking the time to post this solution.

Thanks all for the fix and links to the information that I needed!!! You're all brilliant, and your replies definitely cured my tiny font issue. Now I can roam the earth again without squinting or having to send up anymore "weather" balloons.

I don't get the properties bar when I click on the Google Earth Pro icon. Why is that?

If you use Google Earth and something goes wrong, you can let us know.

Using Google Chrome on your computer, open Google Earth.
On the top left, click Menu Feedback.
Describe your issue and decide if you want to include a screenshot.
To adjust the image you send, click on the screenshot and follow the instructions.
Click Send.
