Web Media
Anyone can find media on the web, but usage rights come into play if you're looking for content that you can take and use above and beyond fair use. Site owners can use licenses to indicate if and how others can reuse content on their sites.
Only select media that you have confirmed you can use in your intended context according to the license details can be used. Your use of selected media must comply with our abuse program policies. Include appropriate attribution if necessary.
- Before reusing media that you’ve found, you should verify that your use is permitted and check the exact terms of reuse stated in the licence.
- For example, most licences require that you give credit to the media creator when reusing media.
- Google has no way of knowing whether your use is permitted, so we aren’t making any representation that the content is actually lawfully licensed.
