You can use Google Vids to trim, add music or make other simple edits to videos saved in Google Drive that were created outside of Google Vids.
Important:
- You can edit these file types:
- MP4
- QuickTime
- OGG
- WebM
- Individual clips have limits of 35 minutes and 4 GB.
- On your computer, go to drive.google.com.
- Select the video that you want to edit to open in preview.
- At the top right, click Open.
- A new Vids project opens with your video file inserted as the first scene.
