Add & customise your Google Drive widget

You can quickly access files, scan, search or upload to Google Drive with Drive widgets on your Android and iOS devices. 

Add the Google Drive widget to your home screen

Important: This feature is only available on iOS 14 and higher and iPadOS 14 and higher.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, tap and hold the home screen.
2. In the top left, tap Add .
3. Search for the Google Drive app and tap it.
4. To select widget size, swipe right or left.
5. Tap Add widget.
6. Place the widget on your home screen and, in the top right, tap Done.

Turn off suggested files

1. On your iPhone or iPad, go to the home screen.
2. Tap and hold the Google Drive widget.
3. Tap Edit widget.
4. Turn 'Show suggested files' off .
