The Vids Chrome extension records videos up to 30 minutes long. You can record as many videos as you need.
Install the Vids Chrome extension
You must install the Vids Chrome extension before you can record your screen.
Tip: To always have the Vids Chrome extension visible, select Extensions 
Use Vids Chrome extension to record your screen
You can record videos up to 30 minutes long as many times as needed
- On your computer, open Chrome. Get started with Chrome.
- At the top right, click Vids Chrome extension

- If you don’t find it, click Extensions
Scroll to find Vids Chrome extension
- If you don’t find it, click Extensions
- To record your screen, in the drop-down, select Screen.
- Optional: To delay recording, turn the toggle on for Recording countdown,
- Click Next.
- Select what you want to record and share:
- Chrome Tab
- Window
- Entire Screen
- Optional: To record your desktop audio, turn on “Also share tab audio/ Also share system audio”.
- Click Share. During recording:
- To pause, click

- To resume recording, click
.
- To start a new recording, click Restart
.
- To pause, click
- To finish and watch the recording, click Finish
.
- Optional: To edit the recording, on the top right, click Edit

- To share a link of your recording, at the top right, select Share & copy link.
- To manage sharing settings, at the top right, select
Troubleshoot issues with the Vids Chrome extension
- If the icon does not respond, close any open recorder tabs.
- To close a pinned tab where the recorder might be open, open the right click menu on the pinned tab and select Close.
