You can use Google editors with a variety of assistive technologies to help you with your tasks.
Use a screen magnifier
You can use a screen magnifier to zoom in on your screen.
- In Google Chrome Browser, open:
- Docs
- Sheets
- Slides
- Drawings
- Open the Tools menu, and then Accessibility.
- Tick Turn on screen magnifier support.
Tip: If the magnifier doesn't follow keyboard focus, adjust your magnifier settings.
To turn on the magnifier:
For Windows OS:
- Use the keyboard shortcut: Windows + plus sign (+).
- To open the Magnifier settings, press Ctrl + Windows + M, and then turn on Magnifier.

For Chrome OS:
- In 'Settings', select Advanced, Accessibility and then Manage accessibility features.
- Turn on Enable full-screen magnifier or Enable docked magnifier.

For Mac OS:
- In 'System Settings', select Accessibility.
- Click Zoom.
- In 'Advanced', turn on Follow the keyboard focus.
Tip: Magnification extensions are available in Chrome.
View in high contrast
You can view your documents, spreadsheets and presentations in high-contrast mode:
- For Windows OS: You can change colour contrast in Windows.
- For ChromeOS: You can invert colours.
- For Mac OS: You can change the display settings, like colour inversion or increased contrast. Learn how to change display settings.
