Add audio to a video in Google Vids

Add audio from Drive

You can upload and insert your own audio from Google Drive.

  1. On your computer, open a video in Google Vids.
  2. Click to select a scene in the timeline.
  3. In the sidebar, click Upload , or at the top, click Insert and then Upload .
  4. Find the file you want to add in the Upload side panel.
    • Tip: Search your files or filter by folder or media type.
  5. To add to your video, click the file.

Upload audio from your computer

You can upload and insert your own audio from a file on your computer.

  1. At the top, click Insert and then Upload.
  2. Select the audio file you want to add.
  • Tip: You can also drag and drop an audio file from your computer into a scene in your video.
