In Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Vids, you can use the tool finder at the top of the screen to:
- Find menu items and tools.
- View recommended actions. These can include recent actions that you took in the document.
- Get suggestions for related actions as you type.
- Activate find and replace after you have entered content from your document.
Find tools and features
To find tools, in the toolbar at the top of the screen, select an option:
- In the toolbar, click Search
or in the menu, click Help
Search the menus.
To use a keyboard shortcut, press the following keys together:
- PC: The Alt and / keys
- Mac: The Option and / keys
- ChromeOS: The Alt and / keys
