Connected TV campaigns

Exchange pre-registration status for Connected TV creatives

Connected TV (CTV) creatives are video ads that are shown in a publisher video player before, during, or after publisher video content. Display & Video 360 supports high definition video creative formats, as well as creative pre-registration for publishers and exchanges that require creative pre-approval.

Review creative status

  1. Open your line item.
  2. In the Line item details tab, go to the "Creatives" table and click your creative.
  3. Click the Creative status tab.
  4. Expand the Exchange review section, and check for the following exchange statuses:
    • Pending: An audit hasn’t yet been completed on this ad. A recommendation can’t be made to use this ad, but vendors' policies may override.
    • Approved: The audit is complete and the ad is approved for use. Some attributes may have been changed in the process by the auditor.
    • Rejected: The audit is complete, but the ad has been found unacceptable in some material aspect and is disapproved for use. Learn more about DRAX creative rejection reasons.

If your creative is rejected, you’ll be able to view the reason in the Feedback column under the Exchange review section. You’ll be provided with the audit status, the classified reason for the denial, suggestions on how to fix the creative, and links to relevant resources.

Note: DRAX approvals are handled at the publisher level, not the exchange level. This means that once a creative is approved, it’ll be valid for all deals with that publisher on DRAX.
