To use commerce media data, you'll need to consent to sharing your data with Display & Video 360 and understand how Display & Video 360 campaigns impact online and in-store sales by utilizing commerce audiences and measurement. This allows for the creation of retargeting audiences and campaign optimization, leading to improved performance and ROI.
Activate data sharing of commerce media data
By consenting to share commerce data, you enable the activation of commerce audiences and measurement within Display & Video 360. This data sharing is crucial for accurate measurement and reporting, demonstrating the direct impact of campaigns on sales.
Agree to data sharing
- Open your advertiser in Display & Video 360.
- Navigate to Advertiser settings and select Basic details.
- Navigate to the “Authorizations” section.
- Review the data sharing agreement terms for “Commerce partners”.
- Enable the checkbox to accept the terms.
- Click Save.
View your commerce audiences
Once audiences have been onboarded, they are visible in the Commerce tab of Audiences.
- Open your advertiser in Display & Video 360.
- Navigate to the Audiences and select All audiences.
- Select Commerce to view the commerce audiences in the table.
Target commerce audiences in your campaigns
- Open your advertiser in Display & Video 360.
- Select the name of the campaign.
- In the “Line items” tab, select the desired line item.
- Navigate to the “Audience lists” section and click the pencil icon
to edit the audience list.
- From "First- and third-party audiences," add the audience list. Select Commerce as the audience type.
Line item setup: While creating a new line item, you can target a commerce audience just like any other audience list across third-party inventory.
Report on commerce audiences spend
- Open Display & Video 360 account.
- Navigate to Reports and select Instant & offline.
- Select Commerce audiences billing template.
- Instant reporting is prepopulated with the relevant fields.
