Link Google Analytics 4 to a Floodlight configuration in Display & Video 360

If you use Campaign Manager 360 with your Display & Video 360 advertiser, you should link the Floodlight configuration to Google Analytics 4 from Campaign Manager 360. Learn more about linking Google Analytics 4 with Campaign Manager 360

Required permissions

Link a Google Analytics 4 property to a Floodlight configuration in Display & Video 360

  1. From your Display & Video 360 advertiser, navigate to Resources > Floodlight Group > Basic Details > Google integrations.
  2. In the “Google Analytics” section, click on the pencil icon. If you don't see the "Google Analytics" section, try setting up the link from Campaign Manager 360 or Google Analytics 4.
  3. Click New link
    1. If you have edit access for the Google Analytics 4 property you want to link, click Choose properties and select the property.
    2. If you do not have edit access for the Google Analytics 4 property you want to link, select Request access and enter the property ID and admin email. 
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Configure the following link settings:
    1. Enable personalized advertising: Choose if the data from the Google Analytics property may be used for Display & Video 360 bidding and remarketing lists.
    2. Enable Campaign Attribution + Enable Cost Data Reporting: Choose if Display & Video 360 campaign data can be used for Google Analytics reporting.
    3. Enable Auto-tagging: Choose if Google Analytics can attribute Display & Video 360 traffic to ad clicks.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Submit.

Unlink a Google Analytics 4 property

  1. From your Display & Video 360 advertiser, navigate to Resources > Floodlight Group > Basic Details > Google integrations.
  2. In the “Google Analytics” section, click on the pencil icon. 
  3. Click the checkbox next to the account you want to unlink. 
  4. Click Unlink.
