Google streaming devices can only remember one Wi-Fi network at a time. If you change your Wi-Fi network and your device isn't currently connected to a Wi-Fi network, perform a factory reset. Next, set up your Chromecast or Google TV Streamer (4K) on the new network.
If your streaming device is connected to an existing Wi-Fi network but you'd like to connect it to a new one, follow these steps.
For Chromecast with Google TV and Google TV Streamer, use your TV to change the Wi-Fi settings.
- From the top right of the TV, select Settings

- Set up your Chromecast with Google TV or Google TV Streamer on a new network.

- Make sure your mobile device or tablet uses the same account as your streaming device. Check which Google Account is linked to a speaker or display.
- Open the Google Home app

- Tap Home
, then touch and hold your device's tile.
- Tap Settings
- You’ll be taken back to your Home screen.
- Set up your Chromecast (3rd gen or older) or Chromecast Audio on a new network.
