Reboot your Chromecast Audio device

Rebooting your Chromecast Audio device may fix several issues. There are two ways to reboot your Chromecast Audio device:

Option 1– From the Google Home app

  1. Make sure that your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Chromecast device. 
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Tap your device and then Settings .
  4. At the top right, tap More More menu and then Reboot.

Option 2  – From the power source 

  1. Unplug the power cable from the Chromecast Audio device.
  2.  Leave it unplugged for ~1 minute.
  3.  Plug the power cord back in.
