Chrome crashes when Syncing

I ran into an issue where chrome would crash whenever opened, I was attempting to restore my tabs initially, but the issue continued when I didn't do that. So I cleared the cached data from my local storage and now when I try to sync my account to pull bookmarks etc. Chrome crashes everytime. I have tried not syncing various things, but haven't found a solution yet.

Try the following troubleshooting steps.

Disable Hardware Acceleration:
- Go to Chrome Settings > Advanced > System.
- Uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available."
- Restart Chrome.
Create a New Chrome Profile:
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of Chrome.
- Select "Add" to create a new profile.
- Try using Squarespace in the new profile to see if the issue persists.
Check for Conflicting Software:
- Temporarily disable antivirus, firewall, or other security software that might interfere.
- If you're using any screen recording or video conferencing software, close those as well.
Reset Chrome Settings:
- Go to Chrome Settings > Advanced > Reset and clean up.
- Click "Restore settings to their original defaults."
- Note that this will reset your preferences and extensions, so make a backup of any important data.
Reinstall Chrome:
- Uninstall Chrome completely from your.
- Download the latest version from the official Chrome website and reinstall.
Check for Chrome-Specific Issues:
- Type "chrome://crashes" in Chrome's address bar to view crash reports.
- Look for patterns or error messages that might provide clues.
