Before you use this feature

Edit images with Nano Banana

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. Find an image you want to edit.
  3. Right click the image and then Create image with Gemini.
    • If you don’t find “Create image with Gemini” for a specific image, the image might be protected or not supported.
  4. In Gemini in Chrome, describe the image you want to create or select a suggestion.

Tip: To save or copy the generated image, right click the image and then Save image as… or Copy image.

  • Start your prompt with words like draw, generate, and create.

  • Include a detailed visual description of what you want in the image. This can include the subject of the image, what the subject is doing, and the background or setting.
