You can search anything you find with Google Lens in Chrome. For example, you can select an image of a shirt on a page to know where to buy it or take a photo of an animal to identify it.
Search with Google Lens

- This feature is only available on iPhone.
- Set Google as your default search engine.
To search on a page with Google Lens:
- On your iPhone, open Chrome

- Go to a website.
- On the left of the address bar, tap Google Lens

- Or, tap More

- To search an image or video:
- Draw, highlight, or tap an area on an image or video.
- To adjust the selection, drag the corners.
- You can zoom or pan the image.
- To search text:
- To select, highlight the text.
- To adjust the selection, drag the corners.
- To find a translation, tap Google Translate.
- To search an image or video:
- You can find the results through the Search results page overlay.
- After selection, to ask follow up questions about an image, in the search bar, you can add text.
- To close the results page, at the top of the Search results page overlay, swipe down.
- To close Google Lens, tap Close

- To upload an existing image from your device, at the bottom left, tap Photo picker

- In the search bar, tap Google Lens

- In the highlighted box, position the QR Code or barcode.
- When it works, a code displays in the address bar.
- Tap the link that pops up on your screen.

How your page data is processed by Google Lens
To use Google Lens for the first time, you’ll need to agree to the processing of page data.
- To help select objects on the page, a screenshot of the page and page data will be sent to Google. The screenshot and page data won’t be stored or accessed by any human.
- When you select part of the page, the selection is sent to Google Search. To manage or delete your Search activity, go to My Google Activity.
