Applies to managed Chrome browsers and ChromeOS devices.
As an admin, you can use the Admin console to block sensitive internal Chrome URLs. This is a faster and safer way of blocking user access to such URLs. These URLs will be included in the Blocked URLs list, and they do not count towards the 1000 URL maximum. With newer versions of Chrome, all sensitive internal Chrome URLs are included. With older versions of Chrome, some sensitive internal Chrome URLs might not be included.
This setting reduces the risk of exploiting system vulnerabilities. If some URLs need to be exempted, they can be added to the Blocked URLs exceptions list.
Note: We recommend you use Block sensitive internal Chrome URLs instead of adding Chrome URLs manually to the Blocked URLs list. Adding URLs manually might cause unexpected issues on the device.
