Understand your Cameyo payment plan

Cameyo by Google offers various payment options to fit your needs. Here we describe the different order types and payment plans available.

Licensing model

Cameyo is a subscription-based service licensed on a per-user basis. Each user requires a license to access the service.

Subscription types

You can choose from the following subscription types when placing an order:

Subscription type Description

New subscription

For new customers purchasing Cameyo for the first time. A minimum of 50 licenses is required.

Expansion

Add more licenses to an existing subscription. The new licenses will be co-termed to the end date of your original contract.

Renewal

Extend subscription at the end of its term. You can also adjust the number of licenses at renewal.

Trial

A free trial for evaluation purposes. Standard trials are for up to 50 users for a maximum of 30 days.

Demo

A subscription for customers or partners for demonstration purposes. Demo subscriptions are for 10 licenses and can be for a 12, 24, or 36-month term. Customer demo subscriptions should only be placed on a non-production domain and the customer must have a paid subscription on their production domain.

Their demo domain should include demo-, test-, or dev- prefix (for example, demo-company.company.com).

Payment plans

When you purchase a new subscription or renew an existing one, you can select from the following payment plans:

Contract term

You can commit to a 12, 24, or 36-month contract term.

Payment frequency

You can choose to pay for your subscription in one of the following ways:

  • Annual in advance: Pay for your subscription on a yearly basis. You’re charged up front for the year.
  • Monthly or quarterly in advance: Pay for your subscription in monthly or quarterly installments at the beginning of each month or each quarter. If you sign up later in the month, for example, you make:
    • One prorated payment for the first partial month
    • Full payments for months 2–11
    • One prorated payment for partial month 12
  • Monthly in arrears: Pay for your subscription monthly for that month at the end of each month.
  • Pay-in-full: Pay for the entire contract term upfront.

Google uses Pacific Time (PT) to calculate the start date of your Annual or Fixed-term plan, regardless of your time zone.

What if I add licenses?

Cameyo applies monthly proration to its licences. Any remaining days on a base order are rounded to the nearest full month.

Example 1

If the remaining term is 11 months and 30 days, it is rounded to 12 months.

Example 2

If the remaining term is 11 months and 12 days, it is rounded to 11 months.

Cancel your subscription

To cancel your subscription without penalty, you must wait until the end of your Annual or Fixed-term contract.

If you cancel your subscription before the contract is over, you’re still responsible for the full value of the commitment. If you haven’t paid the full balance of your commitment contract, we’ll charge your account the remaining balance.
