Add user groups

For Google accounts, user groups can be used to make apps available to specific users on a team or in a department. Once the administrator of Google Workspace has set up user groups and added the appropriate users to each group, you can restrict Cameyo app access by group.

Activate user groups

  1. Sign in to the Cameyo Admin console.
  2. Go to Admin  > Company Settings > Directory Groups.
  3. To connect to the relevant user directory, click Connect  .
  4. Complete the required authentication steps.
  5. Click Save.

Share apps with user groups

  1. Go to Apps .
  2. Next to the app you wish to share with a user group, click Info to open the app's setting details.
  3. Turn on Show in portal
  4. If user groups are connected, Restrictions are set to None by default.
  5. Click None to display the available Google Workspace groups.
  6. Select the box to indicate which groups you want to allow access to the app.
  7. Changes you make are saved automatically.

Users who are not in the selected groups will not be able to access the app in their portals.
