For Google accounts, user groups can be used to make apps available to specific users on a team or in a department. Once the administrator of Google Workspace has set up user groups and added the appropriate users to each group, you can restrict Cameyo app access by group.
Activate user groups
- Sign in to the Cameyo Admin console.
- Go to Admin
> Company Settings > Directory Groups.
- To connect to the relevant user directory, click Connect
.
- Complete the required authentication steps.
- Click Save.
Share apps with user groups
- Go to Apps
.
- Next to the app you wish to share with a user group, click Info
to open the app's setting details.
- Turn on Show in portal.
- If user groups are connected, Restrictions are set to None by default.
- Click None to display the available Google Workspace groups.
- Select the box to indicate which groups you want to allow access to the app.
- Changes you make are saved automatically.
Users who are not in the selected groups will not be able to access the app in their portals.
