Power management

Cameyo lets you customize your servers' startup and shutdown times, with certain restrictions based on your license type.

Regular License Constraints

• Working Days—5 days per week.
• Daily Hours—9 hours per day.
• Inactivity Shutdown (during work hours)—Up to 30 minutes of no active sessions before shutdown.

Customize server power

To customize server power, follow these steps:

1. On the Cameyo Admin console, select Servers .
2. Click the relevant server name.
3. Scroll down to Power Management.
4. Edit these options:
   1. Working days
   2. Workday start time
   3. Workday end time
   4. Inactivity shutdown timeout:
      1. During work hours
      2. Outside work hours
5. Click Save.

Example

You can customize servers to operate during standard working hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

During these hours:

• A server powers on automatically when a user starts a session.
• It remains active as long as it is in use or new sessions are requested on it.
• If a server has been inactive (no active sessions) for more than 15 minutes, it will shut down.

A shutdown means the server powers off, and the next user who requests a session on it experiences a brief delay—typically 3 minutes—while the server powers back up.
