You can share your calendar publicly so anyone can check it.
How public calendars work
When you make a calendar public, other people can:
- Find your public calendar on a website. If this website is searchable, people can find your calendar in search results.
- Sync your calendar with other applications.
- Subscribe to your public calendar and check it in Google Calendar.
When you make a calendar public, you can choose to let other people check all the event details or just when you're free or busy.
Make your calendar public
You can have multiple calendars and share them with different people. For example, you can have a public calendar you share with everyone, and a private calendar that only you can check.
Important: You can only edit Google Calendar sharing settings from a computer, not the mobile app.
Tip: This change usually only takes a few minutes, but may take up to 4 hours to take effect.
Share your public calendar
There are a few ways to share your public calendar:
Add events to a public calendar
If you share multiple calendars with other people, you must select the correct calendar when you create a new event.
- Unless you change the setting, new events match the calendar's default settings. For example, if the default is set to “public,” anyone can find your new event.
- To override your calendar's default settings, change your event privacy settings.
