To save you time, you can use Gemini in Google Calendar to search for everyone's availability and suggest times to meet that work best for everyone.
Get suggested times when you create an event
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- At the top left, click Create
Event.
- Add guests to your event.
- Click Suggested times.
- Select a suggested time.
- If you want to see other times, click More suggestions.
- Or, you can directly edit on the grid.
- If you want to see other times, click More suggestions.
Tip: To collapse or expand the suggestions, on the left, click Suggested times.
Get suggested times when you reschedule an event
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- Click the event you want to reschedule.
- Click Edit event
.
- Click Suggested times.
Tip: If you're the event organizer and several guests decline, a banner might appear at the top of the event with alternative schedule suggestions.
- To accept the suggestion, click Reschedule to [date and time].
- To manually find a different time, click More times.
Learn why you don't get suggested times
You can't get suggested times if:
- You use the Calendar app for Android, iPhone, or iPad.
- The event is longer than 8 hours.
- The meeting has too many attendees.
- The date range you are viewing is in the past.
