On your Android phone or tablet, you can manage how your Google Calendar data is shared with other apps. The “Share Google Calendar data with other apps” setting lets you manage access to your Calendar information, which gives you more privacy and control over your data.

Important: If you share your Calendar information with other apps, you might get a pop-up notification in Google Calendar to manage data sharing in your Calendar settings. If you close the notification, you can follow the instructions in this article to adjust your data sharing preferences for Calendar.

- Google apps and experiences you’ve signed into with your Google Account.

- The following features and apps might be affected when you no longer share your Calendar data with other apps:
- Third-party calendar apps: Other apps might not show or notify you about your Calendar events.
- Third-party calendar widgets: Some of these widgets might not show Calendar events.
- Other apps that aren’t primarily calendar-based: For example, apps for video conferencing or shift planning might not show Calendar data.
- Certain Android system features: For example, a feature on Android that automatically turns on "Do not disturb" mode during a meeting is affected.
