Business Home is a growth partner built with Gemini models, designed to be a hub that connects your essential business tools, making it easier to engage with your customers on Google and beyond.
Over time, Business Home will provide holistic insights and next best step across all connected services. For example, it can catch a real-time surge in local demand and help you quickly create and publish a seasonal offer across your social media and other customer experiences.
What you can do with Business Home beta
To build and refine this experience, the Business Home beta is starting with an initial set of core functionality. Today, you can:
- Effortlessly create content: Elevate your digital storefront with AI-assisted, one-click content generation and studio-quality photo enhancements, letting Google do the heavy lifting while you retain full creative control.
- Manage locations: Update your hours, respond to customer reviews, and more, all within Business Home. Simpler, faster, and easier to navigate.
- Get proactive growth guidance: Remove the guesswork from your growth strategy with a 360° view of your business that translates data into prioritized, actionable steps.
Understand eligibility requirements for the Business Home beta
Important: Business Home is currently a closed beta experience,available only to select business verticals and locales, and certain features may not be available to all businesses.
- You must have an active Google Account.
- Your business must be based in the US.
- You must be the owner or manager of a verified Google Business Profile with fewer than 10 locations for the same business.
- You must own or manage only one type of business. Accounts that manage multiple distinct businesses, such as owning both a restaurant and a retail shop, are not currently supported.
- You can link a maximum of one YouTube channel, one Google Ads account, and one Merchant Center account.
- Your account and business must adhere to all applicable Google policies. This includes policies for connected tools, such as Business Profile and Merchant Center.
If your business is eligible for the Business Home beta, you will receive an email inviting you to Business Home. From the email, select the View your business home button to get started with Business Home.
Manage your Business Home settings and connected tools
Important: To connect any of your tools, such as your Business Profile, Merchant Center, or Google Ads, you must have access to them.
Adjust Business Home settings to customize your experience and manage your business information across Google services, such as Google Ads, Business Profile, Merchant Center, and YouTube:
- Go to your Business Home.
- At the bottom of the side panel, select Settings
.
- In the “Connected tools” section, you can review which connected assets are used to personalize your Business Home experience.
- To link or unlink a Google tool, turn the toggle next to the account on or off.
Tip: To make changes to connected tools, you must have the required permissions to those tools. For example:
- To manage your local store, you must have owner or manager access to its Business Profile.
- To post on Search, Maps, and YouTube, you must have owner or manager access to the Business Profile and the YouTube channel.
