Add messaging options, like text and WhatsApp, to your Business Profile so customers can contact you. Many customers prefer the convenience and speed of messaging when they contact a business.
Important: Messaging options are currently available for select countries and regions and may not be available for your Business Profile.
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select Edit profile
Contact.
- Next to “Chat,” select Edit
.
- From the “Chat” dropdown menu, select the Down arrow
.
- Select WhatsApp or Text message.
- In the "URL" or "Phone number" field, add your WhatsApp click to chat URL or a phone number that can receive text messages.
- Select Save.
Tip: If you add both WhatsApp and text messaging, only the text message option is visible to customers.
