Manage social media links on your Business Profile

Important: Social media links are currently available in select regions and may not be available on your Business Profile at this time.

To share more about your business and connect with your customers, you can manage which social media links customers can find on your profile.

You can add one social media link from each of these platforms to your Business Profile. Learn about social media links formats:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn

  • X (formerly Twitter)

How to add social media links to your Business Profile

Add social media links

You can add one link per social media platform. For example, you can add one Facebook and one YouTube link to your Business Profile, but you can’t add two YouTube links.

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. Select Edit profile and then Contact.
  3. Next to “Social profiles,” select Edit Edit pencil.
  4. From the “Social profile” dropdown menu, select the social media link you want to add.
  5. In the “Web address” field, enter the link.
    • To add additional profiles, select Add social profile.
    • To find the correct social media link format, refer to social media links formats.
  6. Select Save.

Tips:

Edit social media links

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. Select Edit profile and then Contact.
  3. Next to “Social profiles,” select Edit Edit pencil.
  4. In the “Web address” field, edit the social media link.
  5. Select Save.

Remove social media links

  1. Go to your Business Profile.
  2. Select Edit profile and then Contact.
  3. Next to “Social profiles,” select Edit Edit pencil.
  4. Next to the the social profile you want to remove, select Delete and then Save.

Tip: If Google adds a social media link to your profile, you can check if you want to replace it with a different one. If you still want to remove it, contact us.

Yes. Different Business Profiles can use the same social media link.

Can I find how users interact with each social media link, like click?
No. Performance metrics for social media links aren’t available at this time.

Why was my update rejected?
Updates may not be saved if the link is broken, duplicated, invalid, or unsupported.
