Enable notifications for Assistant

To see notifications such as text messages on your infotainment screen, you must enable notifications for Google Assistant.

You will need to enable notifications on both your infotainment screen and iOS device after you set up your infotainment screen.

Step 1. Enable notifications on your infotainment screen

1. On your car’s infotainment screen, navigate to Settings

2. Tap Apps and notifications Special app access Notification access

3. Turn on Google Assistant

4. Navigate back to Settings

5. Tap Bluetooth

6. Enable Text Messages

1. On your iOS device, navigate to Settings

2. Tap Bluetooth and ensure that your Bluetooth is toggled On

3. Tap the Information icon next to your car’s name

4. Enable Show Notifications

5. Navigate back to Bluetooth settings

6. Turn your device's Bluetooth off and on again
