Change Google Assistant settings

Use Google Assistant settings to change the language in Google Assistant, set up Voice Match, and manage other preferences.

Tips:

• You can use Google Assistant with multiple accounts.
• If you’re a first-time user without a default language, Assistant will communicate with you based on your device’s default language. If Assistant doesn’t support this language, long-pressing the power button to access Assistant may open Chrome instead.

Open Google Assistant settings

1. Open the Google Assistant app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.

Change your Google Assistant account

1. Open the Google Assistant app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial.
3. Next to your email address, tap the Down arrow . Choose an action:
   • To use a different account, tap the account you want to use.
   • To add a new account, tap Add another account.
   • To remove an account, tap Manage accounts on this device.
