Android auto keeps disconnecting

I've seen multiple posts about the same issue having to do with android auto continually disconnecting just out of the blue. This  started happening nearly every time I'm in navigation mode, leving me essentially lost at least twice. I have followed and enacted all of these suggestions, including changing out my usb cable, cleaning the contacts on both ends of the cable and of the port on my phone and in my car. I I have restarted my phone, checked the settings on android auto. NOTHING has solvedvthe problem. This has gotten 10x worse since the update at the end of march 2025. We NEED SOME HELP HERE, ANDROID PROGRAMMERS! EVERYONE IS REPORTING THE SAME ISSUES!!!!
