Audio skips/cuts in & out
Used to have an issue auto connecting to AA, but once connected there were no audio issues. Now the auto connection is working better/faster but the annoying audio issue is new and persistent.

I understand that your Android Auto audio is skipping and cutting in and out, and you have already tried clearing the cache, restarting your phone, and disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable.
Here are some additional things you can try:
- Make sure that your phone and car are running the latest software updates.
- Try a different USB cable. Some USB cables may not be compatible with Android Auto or may not be able to provide enough bandwidth for high-quality audio streaming.
- Use a wireless Android Auto connection, if available. Wireless Android Auto connections can provide better audio streaming than wired connections.
- Check your car's audio settings. Make sure that the volume is turned up and that the audio source is set to Android Auto.
- Try restarting your car's infotainment system. This can sometimes fix minor glitches.
- Disable any unnecessary apps on your phone. Some apps can interfere with Android Auto, even if they are not running in the foreground.
- Try booting your phone into safe mode. If the audio works in safe mode, then one of your apps is causing the problem. You can then try enabling your apps one by one until you find the app that is causing the problem.
If you have tried all of the above and you are still having problems, you may need to contact Google support for further assistance.
Here are some additional tips:
- Try playing music from a different source, such as a USB drive or AM/FM radio. If the audio plays normally from other sources, then the issue is likely with the Android Auto app or your phone's connection to your car.
- Try connecting your phone to a different car. If the audio plays normally in another car, then the issue is likely with your car's infotainment system.
