A Data Universal Numbering System (D-U-N-S®) number is a unique nine-digit identifier assigned to businesses by Dun & Bradstreet. D-U-N-S numbers are recognised globally and help consolidate information about your business’s credit history.
Google partners with Dun & Bradstreet to support our Advertiser verification processes. We can use your D-U-N-S® number to confirm that the information that you provide about your business during advertiser verification. If you haven’t enrolled with Dun & Bradstreet, follow these steps to claim your D-U-N-S number. Request your D-U-N-S number
- On the Dun & Bradstreet enrolment website, scroll down to the 'Thanks for choosing to request a D‑U‑N‑S® Number' section.
- Select the option that best describes your business.
- Provide the information requested in the registration form. This information may include:
- Business name
- Business address
- Business phone number
- Name of business owner
- Legal structure of the business
- Industry type
- Number of employees
- Submit your application.
- A representative from Dun & Bradstreet will reach out to you to through phone or email to process your request.
- When enrolment is complete, Dun & Bradstreet will send your D‑U‑N‑S® number by email.
After you submit your application, you can expect to receive your D-U-N-S® number confirmation within 30 days. If you need your D-U-N-S® number sooner, you can request an expedited review from Dun & Bradstreet for a fee.
