You can use this breakdown to understand the current status of ad serving on your site as a result of any policy or other issues.
Values
- Disabled ad serving: Ads have stopped appearing on your site.
- Restricted ad serving: Some ads have been restricted on your site because certain advertisers are not bidding on this content.
- Ad serving at risk: Ads on your site are at risk of being disabled or restricted.
- Regular ad serving: Ads are not affected by any policy or other issues.
To fully restore ads, you need to fix policy issue(s). Learn how to fix policy issues that affect ad serving.
Data discrepancies
You might encounter discrepancies between the data in your reports and your Policy centre due to the following:
- Time zone settings: Policy centre data is consistently presented in the Mountain View Time Zone (MTV). To minimise any potential differences when comparing data, we recommend changing your reporting time zone to MTV.
- Excluded policy enforcements: Currently, not all policy enforcements are captured in reporting. Some enforcements that are shown in the Policy centre may not be available in reporting. The following enforcements are not supported:
- Enforcements with a low volume of traffic
- Consent requirements (e.g. No CMP, etc.)
- Crawler issues (e.g. Unable to resolve hostname, etc.)
- Intellectual property abuse
- Malware or unwanted software
- Severities and domains: Reporting summarises the effects of policy impacts by showing the highest severity. For example, a site with both warnings and restricted ad serving will be reported as having restricted ad serving.
Reporting is typically more granular than the Policy centre, so you might see differences in how domains are displayed. For instance, example.com in the Policy centre might appear as both example.com and example.com in reporting.
