Reactivate an Ad Manager account

Note: If you’re a small business MCM child and your account is deactivated:
  • Your account will need to be reactivated (similar to non-MCM accounts)
  • You’ll have to complete the identity and address verification process prior to monetization if you haven't been verified
  • Your relationships with parents will end and will need to be re-accepted prior to monetization
  • Parents will need to re-onboard any sites / inventory that you wish to monetize

You may be able to reopen a Google Ad Manager account by requesting reactivation.

Requesting reactivation requires having the Administrator user role on the account.

When you request reactivation, we review the request. The review usually takes about a day, but in some cases can take up to two weeks.

If reactivation is approved, you can begin using your account again after accepting the terms.

Reactivate the account

Note: Reactivation requires Admin permissions.

To reactivate the account, choose an option:

  • Immediately after closing your account, on the confirmation page that shows, click Reactivate account.
    This page shows only once.
  • Sign in with your account details (username and password) and click Reactivate account.

What if my account isn’t reactivated?

If Ad Manager can’t reactivate your account, try resolving any issues shown when you sign in, such as having a duplicate account, and resubmit your request. Learn more about common reasons accounts can’t be reactivated.
