SurveyMonkey cloud app

Using the SAML 2.0 standard, you can configure single sign-on (SSO) for a number of cloud apps. After you set up SSO, your users can use their Google Workspace credentials to sign in to an app using SSO.

You must be signed in as a super administrator for this task.

Before you begin

Before you can set up SSO, you need to send Google identity provider information to SurveyMonkey. To do so, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in with a super administrator account to the Google Admin console.

If you aren’t using a super administrator account, you can’t complete these steps.

  2. In the Set up single sign-on (SSO) with Google as SAML Identity Provider (IdP) section, download the identity provider metadata.
  3. Send an email to SurveyMonkey support and ask them to turn on SSO for your account. In the email, include the identity provider metadata and ask for a domain name for your organization, the ACS URL, and the entity ID.
  4. Wait for SurveyMonkey to set up SSO on your account and provide you with a domain name for your organization, the ACS URL, and the entity ID. You need these values to complete the next steps.
