Google Meet hardware certification program for ChromeOS and AOSP

The Google Meet team recommends using only certified hardware in meeting rooms to ensure quality experiences. This page lists approved ChromeOS and Android Open Source Project (AOSP) hardware that work with Meet. As part of the program, Google’s partner lab tests the hardware and peripherals for quality, reliability, and interoperability. Google’s QA team tests these devices to make sure they work with changes in ChromeOS and AOSP. Approved hardware and peripherals will get automatic, firmware updates during their supported period.

If you're a vendor or manufacturer, see Google Meet hardware certification program for more information about the qualification requirements and process.

End of Life and End of Support differences

It's important to distinguish between End of Life (EoL) and End of Support (EoS). EoL is determined solely by the hardware provider, while EoS for Meet signifies the cessation of Meet's dedicated support and automatic updates. Devices reaching their Meet EoS dates will remain functional, requiring no user intervention or recertification.

For more details about lists of approved peripherals for Meet hardware, see Approved peripherals for Meet hardware.
