If Google AppSheet isn’t included in your edition of Google Workspace, you can add it.
Before you begin
- Choose a subscription. For details, go to What subscription is right for me?
- Determine the number of licenses that you need to purchase. See How many licenses do I need to purchase for my subscription?.
Add an AppSheet Core or Enterprise Plus subscription
Charges for an AppSheet subscription are included in your monthly Google Workspace invoice.

Sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console.
If you aren’t using an administrator account, you can’t access the Admin console.

Go to Menu
Billing > Get more services.
Requires having the Billing Management administrator privilege.

At the left, click Google Workspace add-ons.
- Go to AppSheet Enterprise Plus or AppSheet Core and click Get Started.
- Follow the instructions to review the pricing and payment plan and select your payment method.
- If you purchase an annual plan, enter the number of licenses. You are charged up front for the licenses.
- If you purchase a flexible plan, you're charged for a single license. If you assign any additional licenses later, you pay for them then.
- (Optional) To assign additional licenses, go to Assign AppSheet Core or AppSheet Enterprise licenses.
- To customize AppSheet access, go to Control access to AppSheet.
Add an AppSheet User Pass subscription
Buy AppSheet User Pass licenses to give AppSheet access to users who don’t have an AppSheet license, or who have AppSheet Core but need the extra features in AppSheet Enterprise Plus. To learn more, go to Allow app access as needed with AppSheet User Pass.
You purchase User Pass licenses for your organization as a pool, rather than assigning them to individual users in the Admin console. You’re charged up front for the licenses.
To add an AppSheet User Pass subscription:
